The Cyban dashboard and Cyban AI operate in a secure cloud environment. 

The Cyban cloud environment is an integral component of the service we provide to you. To put it another way, Cyban only operates through our managed cloud service.

You are automatically using the cloud environment when you access the dashboard.

When you install the Cyban sensor on your devices, you activate it with an account code that is unique to your organisation. This enables the installed sensor to securely feed it’s measurements to your dedicated Cyban cloud instance. If a rogue user manages to get hold of your account code, don’t worry. It doesn’t in any way provide them with access to your dashboard; only you can authorise a user to access your dashboard. All the user can do with the account code is activate a sensor on their rogue machine but with Cyban’s ability to see devices operating outside of your known networks, you would easily spot that rogue device.

Operating the Cyban cloud as part of our managed service to you means that you don’t need to worry about the setup, operation or maintenance of the Cyban dashboard and AI.

We can also use our expertise to ensure that the dashboard and AI operate with optimal security.

We use Microsoft Azure as our cloud platform but we are happy to discuss agreements to provision in other cloud platforms such as AWS and Google.

Cyban cloud presently keeps data in the EU. We will provide the cloud service in other regions in the near future.

Using our Cyban cloud does not in any way interfere or impact youre use of any existing cloud service you may already use as part of your day-to-day operations.

We have chosen to use Microsoft Azure as our preferred cloud platform to provide security from the ground up, backed by Microsoft’s team of experts, with proactive compliance trusted by enterprises, governments, and start-ups. With a $1B+ investment in security R&D and 3,500 cybersecurity experts, security is foundational to Azure. We plan to offer a choice of cloud platform provider in future.
